Road
Safety
– Mr
Townsend reported that there had been one accident this month and that
the drain covers on Buttles Hill were getting worse.
Clerk advised that Highways are due to repair them soon using the
same method as used on the A12.
The drain covers near the bus stops were repaired using this
method last year and have held for much longer.
No date set yet for commencement of work.

Planning Applications
|
|
|
|
UTT/1247/09/FUL –
Single storey front extension.
Stansted Skyline Hotel, Barnston.
This application was reviewed and the Council felt that the
proposal would smarten up the front of the building.
It was noted that the current structure is used as a smoking
shelter and the Council would not want to see an application for a new
smoking shelter at a later date.
It was also noted that on the Application Section 20 Employment
was confusing.
