Road Safety
Mr R. Townsend reported that he was
not aware of any accidents this month.
It was noted that various potholes and sunken drains have been
repaired with newer holes still to be done.

Weight Restriction
Cllr Barker reported earlier in the meeting that she had not had any
response from Cllr Humes office or Highways.
Clerk and Cllr Barker to pursue but Cllr Barker feels that the
government has other priorities at the moment.

Initiatives Fund for two VAS
signs and 3 Village Gateways.
Clerk has been advised that the Council has been successful with
the grant application. No
date has been received from Highways as to when the work will begin to
install the above.

Refresh road
markings in the area of
Parsonage Lane, before the School House and
add an additional slow marking on the approach to the School House.
Despite endless emails and
telephone calls by the clerk to Highways the work has still not been
carried out.

Resigning of B1008
The Parish council asked Cllr Barker earlier in the meeting if she
could contact Highways and the Department of Transport to see if she
could help speed up the resigning.

Dog Bins Clerk
was advised by a resident that the bins were full.
She has been in contact with Uttlesford Environmental Health
Department and expressed concern about the bins.
The bins are emptied once a week.
Parish Councillors to let Clerk know if there is a further
problem with the bins or contact Uttlesford Direct on 01799 510510.
