Townsend reported that there had been no accidents this month and that
the drain covers on Buttles Hill were getting worse.

Community Initiatives Fund Pedestrian Crossing – Clerk has sent in the
application form and now we will have to wait to find out if we get the
grant. Clerk met with
Highways who advised that if the speed of traffic is consistently more
than 35mph then this particular crossing would not be suitable and the
signal crossings would cost considerably more.
Council RESOLVED to start saving money in case further funds
would be needed for the crossing.
Clerk to ask Police to come to village with Speed Camera’s again.
