Grants have been available for some time now for Loft and Cavity Wall Insulation. You can arrange a free quotation through the energy saving trust by ringing 0800 512 012. They send an approved contractor out to survey your house and the contractor applies for the grant to assist in covering the costs. Cavity Wall insulation for my house came to just ?160 after the grant (4 bed detached). OVER 70's get the entire cost covered - Loft and Cavity Wall insulation for FREE.
